The latest retrofitted electric boat that we completed is a beautiful, classic mahogany hull from 1952. The boat was originally built in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan as an ACME Aqualiner. The boat was restored and electro-fitted with a 75HP electric outboard and 46kWh of batteries, a 7″ touchscreen and digital controls from ACEL Power.

The hull was restored (sanded, stained and varnished) on the outside. We also reinforced the transom and the keels inside the hull using marine grade plywood and aluminum. This reinforcement created a strong structure for the electric outboard and the batteries.

We have removed the original fuel tanks and kept the seats. The batteries are located under the original seating area and in the back of the boat.
