Myst is an Oughtred Elfyn design, lug rig, built in Vancouver Canada, sailed there and further south in Puget Sound. She rows beautifully.
My first sail with her, in Holmes Harbor, she drew the attention of several folks who came over to help me beach her. One was a wood artist who knew my wife Molly by reputation, small world.
I hadn’t intended to buy a boat, in fact was preparing to build an Oughtred Caledonia yawl, but Myst’s figurehead captivated me.
