46' Armitage Custom Yawl (2024) - KAILANI

SV Kailani – Modern classic yawl

Design brief: Classic north of the waterline, and modern south.

Construction is triple cold moulded timber with Douglas Fir longitudinal planking and two diagonal oregon overlays.

Hull lines above water – trational clipper bow raked stem and transom, below water – fin keel with semi balanced rudder.

Decks are longitudinally planked Douglas Firwith a ply overlay and dynal.

All medium density and dress timbers are New Guinean rosewood individually purpose selected in their country of origin.

Keel is a steel box section with the lower half ecapsulating the lead ballast, and the upper forming an integral fuel tank.

Rigging is aluminium spars, tubular spreaders with stainless steel standing rigging; laminated oregon bowsprit.
