I’ll second Scott here – truly stunning inside and out. The teak deck/bulwark/guard really shines against the black topsides.

Can you share the standing headroom in the main cabin?

Thanks to both you and Scott for the nice comments. Bryan does fantastic work. As for the headroom, it varies from 6′ at the forward end of the cabin to about 6′ 3″ at the main hatch. The sole height was a compromise between my wife and I, so I can see out the top half of the portholes, and she could see out the bottom. I’m 5′ 11″, so I just fit on the forward end. On the other hand, because of the shape of the hull, to get any space for a sole in the head we had to raise the sole almost 3″ which makes head room in the head a little short. But in practice it hasn’t been an issue, and I can sit for showers.

Thanks, Tim! Sounds like a well-tailored boat for you both.

Just to be clear, the sole is raised inside the head. So there’s a small step up when entering the head.

Aarda is absolutely stunning! She is finished to such a high degree of thoughtful, purposeful craftsmanship and beauty. Almost makes me want to jump ship from Tally Ho!, my Cape George Cutter 31’ (also in show)! You have a truly special vessel. See you out there on the Salish and beyond!
