Little Wren is a custom built 17 foot mahogany runabout built for Judd Whittall in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada by reknowned boat builder Thornton Grenfell in 1962 and was registered as the smallest Blue Book Registered Vessel in Canada. I bought her off my brother-in-law in 1985 and repowered her with a 325 HP Mercruiser V8. Her topspeed is close to 50 knots. She is carvel planked with Honduras mahogany and has an inlaid teak deck with oak trim. Lots of chrome, all original. She is a great waterski/wakeboard boat and throws a good wave. Steering her is like driving your old Jaguar without having to follow too many rules, just a lot of fun. We use her for skiing, fishing, shopping, commuting to vancouver Island or just boating. she is built to RUNABOUT.
