Owner’s Description
The plans for this handsome 38’5″ auxiliary ketch from Edward R Weber of Norge Boats, Darien CT appeared in The Rudder in January 1950. Cyril and Margaret Wriede laid this one down in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia in 1967 and launched her as WOTAMA in 1974. For 43 years she was owned by Albert Jeays of Shorncliffe who sailed her all over Moreton Bay and beyond, both with his family and solo. The design combines classic good looks with comfortable sea-keeping abilities. She owes her present good conditions to Wriede’s sound construction and subsequent owners’ attentive maintenance. Her current home port is Manly, Queensland.Already a member? Log in herePhotos
