Owner’s Description
Raindance was built in 1928 from kauri planks using the carvel construction method. Her design and construction indicate that she started life as a pleasure craft, but over the years has been used for commercial long-line fishing. Numerous owners have added and subtracted to her appearance, some good, most bad. In the late 1980’s she was rescued by two apprentice boat builders and rebuilt to the style you see today. In New Zealand she is referred to as a tram-top launch, with dog-house (rear cockpit/cabin).Already a member? Log in herePhotos
