Owner’s Description
Caroline is a skin-on-frame Adirondack Guide Boat. It is built to the dimensions of the guide boat Virginia designed by H. Dwight Grant, built by his sons in 1905 and measured by John Gardner in 1959 and 1963. The ribs are epoxy-laminated western red cedar. Instead of the wood plankng, longitudinal western red cedar stringers are covered with nylon fabric coated with polyurethane. Other components are pine, cherry, maple and brass.Already a member?
