16' Rangeley Rowboat (2021) - KRISTIINA

“Kristiina” is a 16.5′ Rangeley Rowing Craft built by Newfound Woodworks, inc. in the winter/spring of 2020/21. BEST OF SHOW Winner of the 29th Annual WoodenBoat Show 2021 Concours d’Elegance. She is a Cedar Strip cove & bead construction of Western Red Cedar & Alaskan Yellow Cedar, with fiberglass inside and out. Commissioned by a customer who had us build “Kristiina” as a surprise gift for his wife’s birthday. She is an avid rower and rows daily. “Kristiina” is enjoyed by all family members!

The Rangeley boat is a distinctive American sporting boat that has been in use on the Rangeley Lakes of Maine for well over 100 years, and was well known to past generations of fisherman for it’s numerous excellent characteristics. The Rangeley is extremely stable and loved by anglers who can even stand up and fly-fish out of it!

Newfound Woodworks offers the Rangeley in 15′, 16’6′ and 17′ lengths.
