    1961 William H. “Bill” Tripp Jr. Javelin 38 built by C. van Lent and Zonen Jacht en Scheepsbouw in Kaag, Holland imported to US by Seafarer Yachts of New York

    Hull #9

    Been in the family since 1966. Raced extensively on SF Bay in late 1960’s and early 1970’s, won HDA Divisions Champion Yankee Cup in 1977.

      My family had a 32′ Rhodes Swiftsure in the 60s also built in Holland by deVries Lentch, Inc. and Royal Netherlands Aircraft. It was incredibly well built so I’m not surprised your Javelin has lasted as long so well.
