I’d had these plans a long time before I got around to starting. The end result is a beautiful boat which weighs in at 40lbs and which is a pleasure to paddle. Ironically my smallest and lightest build to date took the longest, some 4+ years – but as they say, it’s as much about the journey as the destination.
