Owner’s Description
Lark is a 1932 Clyde Kyle Fellows and Stewart 38 foot Bridge Deck Cruiser, hull #2. This boat was built in beautiful Wilmington, Ca. This boat was restored by her former owner, past CYA Commodore Stephen Sheridan over a period over 30 years. We he found her, she was on the hard with daylight showing through her planks and the engine in a box. He restored her back to original, replacing rotted planks and keeping her as original as possible. This boat has the distinction of being a member of the Classic Yacht Association Southern Calif Fleet the longest. Unfortunately, Stephan could no longer keep her at which time she was sold to her current owner, John Peckham, 2018 Commodore of the So Cal Fleet for the princely sum of $1.00, and the promise of bringing her back into active duty. John has been spending most of his free time stripping off old varnish and will be bringing her back to Bristol condition, as Stephan had kept her. She is the current flag ship for the Classic Yacht Association and a past flagship for the CYA southern Calif fleet.
