“Volta” is a 1930 Elco Marinette 27 (Actually 26′-9″), wooden boat with fiberglass below the waterline. She is powered with 6 LiFeP0 batteries & an Modern Elco EP-20 (72-Volt) motor, giving her 6 hours of range at 5 knots (in perfect conditions) before her generator can be engaged to charge the batteries for another 6 hours. Most of her is original including sandcast bronze hardware, sinks in head and galley, working toilet (holding tank added), and more. 99% restored (…as much as any 92-year-old wooden boat can be!)
