43' Herreshoff Fishers Island 31 Class Sloop (1930) - WIZARD

Of the 14 Fishers Island 31s built, and of most other round-the-buoy racers and coastal cruisers, only WIZARD can boast a circumnavigation. Dr. Robert Murray sailed her, then named PATAPSCO II, around the world from his Long Island homeport in the 1960s under her original rig and without an autohelm. She languished after his death until receiving a full restoration at Brion Rieff’s shop in Brooklin, ME. Whoever buys her will not only have her unique history but be getting a proven champion racer as well.
