32' Herreshoff Buzzards Bay 25 Class Sloop (1914) - BAGATELLE

Claimed by designer N.G. Herreshoff to be his favorite hull shape, you can easily see why once you study her lines and the shadows cast by her hollow bow. Four others like her were built at the same time, and with a single exception, they have survived through care and restoration. MINK and VITESSA, along with BAGATELLE still sail, while ARIA (ex-WHITE CAP) is on display at The Herreshoff Marine Museum near where she was built 108 years ago.
