Owner’s Description
Queequeg started out as a boat building school project in the early 1990s but did not make it past the hull construction. The hull was used as a mooring minder in Hardys Bay NSW for several years until a local boat builder rescued it and completed the fit out in 2016.
It’s the perfect little boat for sailing around the enclosed and sandbar filled Brisbane Waters.
The bowsprit has been extended to carry a larger jib and a whisker pole added to sail downwind.
Queequeg is a much admired addition to the area’s fleet of small wooden boats.Already a member? Log in herePhotos
