28’x 22’4″x 7’8″x 4’1″, 205 sqft sloop . Fidelity was designed by Gerry Breekveldt and built by Allen Williams , at Milfoed creek , Auckland , probably in late 1958. Fidelity is built from Kauri timber , a new Zealand native timber and is of carvel plank construction .She was registered as E-110 in 1959. Fidelity spent her early years up north in Auckland and Wellington , where she was raced in the local yachting series and off shore races . Apr 1964: Entered for Onerahi YC’s Whangarei to Noumea race.
Feb 1965: Racing with RAYC.
Apr 1966: Entered Balokovic Cup with RAYC.
Apr 1967: Racing RAYC Balokovic Cup.
Dec 1970: Racing Donaghy’s JOG series at RAYC.

Entered 1967 White Island Race, 1970 Channel Island Race .
She was moved south to Lyttelton by the previous owner to myself and is moored on the eastern side of Lyttelton harbour at Purua . I have cared for her for the last 6 years . I have added a few of my own constructed additions , like butterfly hatch , stern seat and boom prop. Constructed from Garapa timber , a south americian hardwood used for decking here in NZ but looks alot like our native Kauri timber of which Fidilty is constructed and cabin interior is detailed with .Already a member?
