MISS ASIA (originally MARGARET F) was designed and built by Consolidated Shipbuilding Corp in Morris Heights, NY in 1923. She was one of the earliest of the Speedway commuters built by Consolidated. She was built for Lawrence Fisher, of Fisher Body Works in Detroit and she spent summers in her private boat house on Mr. Fisher’s estate and winters in Miami Beach. She was later owned by John Jacob Astor V, who was a survivor of the Titanic, prior to his birth.

Nice looking boat, having some of the old pictures really add to history.
