FREEDOM is a 1926 104′ Mathis-Trumpy fantail motor yacht. She underwent a full keel up rebuild/restoration at our yard between ’04-’09. She was launched on the 150th anniversary of our country’s independence on July 4th, 1926. Her second owner, Mrs. J.P. Donahue the daughter of F.W. Woolworth, was the wealthiest woman in the country when she owned the yacht.

Love watching this Trumpy pass as she heads South and North on the AICW in Virginia. Of all the Trumpys, this one is my favorite. Her stern just sets her off to the days of the older ocean liners. I like her round stern much better than the duck tail sterns on some of the other Trumpys. She is a show stopper for her time.
