Bandido – A 1956 Crooks factory boat from Crooks Boats in Castro Valley California – This boat has had extensive top deck restoration/replacement – the boat does retain its original Pontiac 316 Strato-Streak V8 Marine package from Star Marine engines, Oakland Ca. – This boat was given to me by a friend/previous owner on the condition I restored it – the boat was in poor condition – it really looked like a candidate for the burn pile – I honored the previous owners request and what you see is the finished product – I spend winters in Baja California and while down there spent many hours thinking about what I would name my newly restored classic and one day on the water fishing I encountered an old Mexican Panga named Bandido – liked the name – and so it is – the boat resides in McCall Idaho and annually attends the local chapter boat show as well as occasional cruise on beautiful Payette Lake
