  • Riptide is a 53′ motor yacht built by Elco. She was shown at the 1938-39 New York Boat Show and is one of the two largest Elcos still in existence. Her current home port is Port Orchard, Washington.

    Multi-award winner including Best in Show, Rainbow Harbor (Long Beach, CA) Wooden Boat Show, Best Powerboat and Mayor’s Choice Awards (Olympia Wooden Boat Fair), People’s Choice Award (Bell Harbor Classic Boat Show), Best in Show and People’s Choice Awards (Des Moines Waterland Festival).

    1. You know the history of Riptide. A family from Westchester County NY had 1 the moored in New Rochelle. Family Callahan. It was sold to someone I was told was totally restoring her.
      Might this be her?
