17' Outboard-Powered Houseboat (2013) - DIANNE'S ROSE
Owner’s Description
Tiny Houseboat. Our Dianne’s Rose is small but has all that we need for extended trip in the wilds of Georgian Bay and area but we have also taken here as far as the Texas Gulf Coast as she is easy to trailer!

I enjoyed the video and seeing your boat…looks like you pack a lot of living into an 17 ft boat!….I’m guessing you have an electric and a gas outboard?
Safe travels!….Marty
Hi Marty, we are very comfortable and use a 9.8hp outboard with a 4hp At 3/4 throttle we get about 6mph. I wanted a 9.9hp four stroke, high thrust but the 2stroke was affordable. Best Roy
thanks for posting! The more I see of Dianne’s Rose, the more I like the idea of a tiny little houseboat. Fun to see that you have visited so many of the same places I explored around Tanvat Island’s east side. Thanks for posting the video!
A pleasure Tom, I suspect your wife would like to join you in a tiny houseboat vs your open sailing dinghy! Lol! I’d love to hook up with CROW still but between Covid and other interruptions we have missed out. When the time is right I hope we will cross paths. Funny if it was happenstance, while tripping! Hope you and your family are well Tom! All the bestRoy
