40' Lobster Yacht (1955) - SALAR

1955 Rockland Boat Company Lobster Boat, built in Rockland ME by Sulo Grunros. Always used as a cruising boat, SALAR has been restored over the past few years by Thomas Townsend of Mystic CT. SALAR was featured in the WoodenBoat July/August 2019 issue in an article by Evelyn Ansel. She is berthed in Noank CT, and is a regular participant in the WoodenBoat Show, winning for Tom Townsend the Best Professionally Maintained Powerboat in 2021.
