Liberty is our beautiful 1960 Lyman 23′ Sleeper. Liberty is very nicely restored and participates in New England Lyman Group and ACBS boat shows. However, she is a user boat, piling up many hours on the waters of Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire from May until November. Many have enjoyed an afternoon in or tied up next to Liberty, perhaps sampling a heavily hopped beverage or two.
She was purchased in Wolfeboro NH on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 in a partially restored state. After attending 9/11 memorial services and hearing many speeches about “LIBERTY”, it was an omen. My wife and I went and sealed the deal to make her part of the family.
One of the best decisions we ever made.

Hi, great boat! Quick question, did you buy that boat from a person who lived in a house on the right side of Route 109N between Wolfeboro and Camp Belknap? There was a boat just like this one for sale around the time you mentioned, I had stopped (twice) to look at it but was not in a position to pull the trigger on buying it. Thanks, Mark.

Nicely restored. The deck looks to have had narrow planks added as opposed to the sheet mahogany ply.
