  • Owner’s Description

    30 year old, much admired, semi displacement, overbuilt, open fishing boat based on a pamphlet by Howard Chapelle on Chesapeake Crabbing Skiffs. Built for Port Phillip chop and plows through it comfortably. Stable and fast with a simple sprit rig and 420 Ib’s of ballast to bring it down to its waterline. Construction, half inch marine ply on hardwood frames. Video thanks to Stephen Goddard.
