Tripp 30 built in 1963 and one of the first Fibre Glass designs but with very traditional lines. Because of Bill Tripp’s concern over this new material the hull is around an inch thick! The boat was moulded in Holland and fitted out in Cowes, Isle of Wight. It is now kept in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. It has been to Ireland and Holland and is now races competitively at classic boat events and in Yarmouth every week. After 50 years of full on yacht racing I wanted a cruising boat that a) was great to look at and b) one that I could sail single-handed.

Beautiful boat! Tripp is my favorite designer. I have a 1973 Columbia 43 designed by Tripp in Washington State, USA. Let’s swap boats for a couple of weeks sometime.
