Gradually restoring our 1967 Sea Sprite 23 to it’s original glory. This is the Daysailor model, full keel, large cockpit (not self bailing), with lots of wood trim. A Classic plastic fantastic designed in 1954 by Carl Alburg, she sails like a dream, perfectly balanced under her large main and club footed jib, just requiring the occasional nudge with a single finger on the tiller. May add a boomkin for an asymmetrical chute just for the fun of it, although she ghosts along quite nicely in light air as she is.

I moor my 25 ft Cape Dory (Hull No. 658) just south of Lookout Point. I assume you are further south maybe just before the old tank farm. I will sail thru next summer,
Hi Scott! Yes, we are in a small group of moorings at Sunset Cove, just north of Mitchell Field and south of Shelter Island. I’ll be looking out for you. Can’t wait til summer. There’s also a Bristol 27 moored nearby which belongs to a close friend. All Albergs!

Such a beautiful boat! And I absolutely love the way she handles!
