Morris Annie, Hull # 2, Designed by Chuck Paine, and Built by Morris Yachts in 1980. Paine claims this is his favorite design, I suspect that he says that about all of his boats. I choose to believe him about the Annie. She sails like a dream and is lovely to look at. The simply laid out cabin sleeps 4 and is ample and comfortable. Artemis is right sized and will take you out and back in comfort and style. Sixteen Annies were built. Most were finished by Morris Yachts. I found her, somewhat forlorn, in a New Jersey yard. She was trucked to Rockland, Maine straight to the shed of Guy Polyblank of Englishman Marine. Polyblank worked his magic turning her back into the fine little yacht that she is today. The pictures are not the best but they provide a fair representation of Paine’s design.

Beautiful boat John. If I could ever go back to a larger boat a Morris yacht would be on my list. I’ve always loved them. Quality workmanship. The clean white interior with wood trim. I think some may be cherry trim. Dave Satter, NJ

What a Beauty!! Such great lines and super high quality build. Perfecto! I’m currently hunting a Linda or an Annie for myself.
I love Paine designs. Beautiful boat. She was a mag or addition to Dyers Harbor last summer.
